Royalty

A Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) feeding on Moss Verbena (Verbena tenuisecta). I'd chased this subject around for the last week or so trying to capture a decent image. Yesterday evening's low light conditions were accidentally augmented by my having engaged the exposure compensation. Whoops.
